Double-Pepper Barbecue Rub
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Directions
1. In a small bowl stir together paprika, cumin, brown sugar, chili powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and cloves. Store in an airtight container up to 1 month.
2. To use, sprinkle 2 tablespoons spice mixture evenly over 1 pound beef or pork about 10 minutes before grilling; rub in with your fingers. Grill meat.
