Broiled Peanut Butter Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8  slices white, whole wheat, or cinnamon-raisin bread
  • 1/2  to 2/3 cup creamy or chunky-style peanut butter
  • 1/3  cup desired jelly, jam, or marmalade

Directions

1. Preheat the broiler. Spread half of the bread slices with peanut butter, then add the desired jelly, jam, or marmalade. Top with remaining bread slices.

2. Broil 4 inches from the heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until toasted. Turn and broil for 1 to 2 minutes more. Makes 4 servings.
