Romaine Hearts with Blue Cheese

Ingredients

of a (or 1 small) heart romaine lettuce (3 ounces)
1/4
cup very thinly sliced red onion

tablespoons coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted
2
tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
1/4
cup light blue cheese salad dressing
 
Ground black pepper (optional)

Directions

  1. Halve heart of romaine lengthwise. Trim core at ends. Place 1 half on each salad plate. Top with red onion, walnuts, and blue cheese. Drizzle with blue cheese salad dressing. If desired, sprinkled with black pepper.
