Melon in Balsamic Vinegar
Ingredients
  • 2
    cups chilled, seeded, and cubed watermelon and/or honeydew
  • 2
    cups chilled, seeded, and cubed cantaloupe
  • 1 - 2
    teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4
    cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1
    teaspoon fresh ground pepper (optional)
Directions

Divide chilled watermelon and cantaloupe among 4 dessert dishes. Stir sugar into vinegar until dissolved. Drizzle some of the vinegar mixture over each serving. Sprinkle with fresh ground pepper, if desired. Makes 4 side-dish servings.
