Hot Southwestern Relish

14 1/2 ounce can low-sodium tomatoes, cut up

4 1/2 ounce can diced green chile peppers, drained

cup low-sodium tomato paste (1/2 of a 6-ounce can)

tablespoon snipped fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed

teaspoon sugar

teaspoon salt

Directions
In medium saucepan stir together tomatoes, chile peppers, tomato paste, oregano, sugar, and salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until of desired consistency. Serve warm. Makes 1-3/4 cups relish.
