Garlic-Herbed Bread

Ingredients

tablespoons snipped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
1 1/2
teaspoons minced garlic (about 3 cloves)
3/4
teaspoon kosher salt or 1/2 tsp. salt
 
dash ground black pepper
1
14 ounce baguette or Italian bread

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl combine butter, parsley, garlic, salt, and a dash of black pepper.
  2. Without cutting through bottom crust, slice baguette in 1-1/2-inch slices. Generously spread butter mixture between slices. Wrap baguette in heavy foil. Bake 15 minutes or until heated through. Serve warm. Makes 10 to 12 slices.
