Crunchy Pound Cake Slices
1/2-inch slices purchased frozen pound cake, thawed
cup chocolate-hazelnut spread
cup chopped nut topping for ice cream
pint caramel or cinnamon ice cream
- Preheat broiler. Place pound cake slices on a baking sheet. Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 1 minute on each side or until light brown. Cool slightly.
- Spread one side of each slice with 1 tablespoon chocolate-hazelnut spread. Sprinkle with nut topping; pat gently to form an even layer.
- Transfer slices to 4 dessert plates; top with scoops of ice cream. Serve immediately.
