Bourbon-Peach Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

cups bottled barbecue sauce
1/2
cup peach preserves
1/2
cup bourbon
1/4
teaspoon ground cloves
1/4
teaspoon ground red pepper

Directions

  1. Stir together the barbecue sauce, peach preserves, bourbon, cloves, and red pepper. Use part of the sauce as a marinade, if desired.
  2. To use, brush chicken or pork with some of the sauce during the last 10 minutes of grilling. If desired, reheat and pass additional sauce. Cover and refrigerate remaining sauce up to 2 weeks.
