Italian-Sausage Pizza
Ingredients

10 ounce package refrigerated pizza dough (for 1 crust)
8
ounces bulk Italian sausage
1/2
of a medium green sweet pepper, cut into thin strips

8 ounce can pizza sauce
1
4 ounce can (drained weight) sliced mushrooms, drained
1
8 ounce package shredded pizza cheese (2 cups)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degree F. Grease a 12-inch pizza pan; press pizza dough into prepared pan, building up side. Bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a medium skillet cook sausage and sweet pepper until sausage is brown. Drain off fat. Stir in pizza sauce and mushrooms.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheese on the crust. Spoon meat mixture over cheese. Top with remaining cheese. Bake in the 425 degree F oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.
