I brought this to a party at work. I added 1/4 cup of additional mozzarella cheese to the top of the biscuits for more flavor. I also added some bruscetta with garlic to the pizza sauce to give it a kick! Yes, I substituted pizza sauce for the tomato sauce that it calls for which made it a perfect appetizer for a second or third helping party pleaser!

was a total hit! really fast and easy! Next time I will add some other "pizza" ingredients like bell peppers and mushrooms. I used the pillsbury pizza dough cut into strips and that worked great.
