1/2
cup seasoned fine dry bread crumbs
-
1/4
cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese (1 ounce)
-
1
9 ounce package refrigerated tortellini (any flavor)

Refrigerated marinara sauce or Alfredo sauce
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper; set aside. Pour milk into a shallow bowl. In a second shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip each tortellini in milk; dip in the bread crumb mixture, turning to coat lightly. Place coated tortellini on prepared baking sheet.
2. In a medium saucepan, heat 2 inches of cooking oil to 375 degrees F over medium heat. Carefully add tortellini about one-third at a time. Fry tortellini about 3 minutes or until golden, turning to brown evenly. Remove fried tortellini with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
3. Transfer tortellini to a baking sheet; keep warm in oven while frying remaining tortellini. Heat desired sauce. Serve tortellini with warm sauce. Makes 8 servings.
