Mole BBQ Sauce
Ingredients

cup ketchup

tablespoons butter, chopped

tablespoon packed dark brown sugar

tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (not Dutch-process)

tablespoon water

tablespoon cider vinegar

tablespoon molasses

teaspoons yellow mustard

teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

teaspoon smoked paprika

teaspoon ground ancho chile pepper

teaspoon kosher salt

teaspoon dried oregano, crushed

teaspoon garlic powder
1/4
teaspoon onion powder

teaspoon ground cinnamon

teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
  1. In a small heatproof bowl combine all ingredients and 1 Tbsp. water. Microwave on high until hot and bubbly, 2 to 3 minutes, stopping once to stir. Let cool and serve.
