Juice from 1 lime (3 tablespoons)
2
teaspoons chili powder
1/3
cup sugar*

Directions

  1. In a food processor combine 3 cups of the mango, lime peel and juice, chili powder, and sugar (if using frozen mango, use 12 cup sugar). Cover and process until smooth. Stir in the remaining mango.
  2. Divide the mango mixture evenly among sixteen 2-ounce freezer-pop molds.* Cover and seal. Freeze for at least 3 hours or up to 24 hours or until completely firm. To serve, remove each from mold.

If you prefer, use 3-ounce paper drink cups rather than freezer-pop molds. Divide the mango mixture evenly among sixteen 3-ounce paper drink cups. Cover each cup with a square of foil. Slit each piece of foil in the center; insert a flat wooden craft stick through slit and into mango mixture. Freeze for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours or until firm. To serve, peel off each paper cup.
