This so-easy summer cooler is the ideal addition to a collection of low-calorie dessert recipes. Top melon balls with sorbet and a splash of sparkling wine.

cup chilled, seeded watermelon balls
cup chilled, seeded cantaloupe melon balls
cup chilled, seeded honeydew melon balls
cup lemon or mango sorbet
cup sweet sparkling wine, chilled
Mint sprigs (optional)
- Arrange melon balls among four wine glasses or goblets. Scoop about 1/4 cup sorbet atop melon. Pour about 2 tablespoons sparkling wine over sorbet and melon. If desired, garnish with mint sprigs. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.
