Dried Tangerine Peel

Directions
Using a vegetable peeler, thinly slice peel from tangerines or oranges; cut into 1-1/2 x1-inch pieces. Scrape off excess white membrane. Place pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in a 300 degree F oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until peel is dried. Cool thoroughly. Store in a covered container. Makes about 1/3 cup peel.
