White Strawberry Sangria
Ingredients

750 milliliter bottle dry white wine, such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc

cup strawberry schnapps

cup sugar

cups sliced fresh strawberries

Ice cubes

Whole strawberries (optional)
Directions
1. In a 2-quart pitcher stir together wine, strawberry schnapps, and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add sliced strawberries. Cover and chill for 1 to 4 hours. Serve in glasses over ice. If desired, garnish with whole strawberries.
2. Makes 5 servings.

Wow, this is a keeper. I used the Pino Grigio, had a hard time finding the schnapps, but the hunt was worth it. I made it Saturday and we had it Sunday afternoon. Word of caution - the berries REALLY soak up the alcohol. They are stronger than the drink, so I wouldn't eat too many!
