Honey-Mulled Apple Juice
inches stick cinnamon, broken
teaspoon whole allspice
teaspoon whole cloves
cups apple juice (2-1/2 quarts)
cup honey or packed brown sugar
Cinnamon sticks (optional)
- Tie broken stick cinnamon, allspice, and cloves in a spice bag. In a 3-1/2-, 4-, 5-, or 6-quart crockery cooker combine spice bag, apple juice, and honey or brown sugar.
- Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours or on high-heat setting for 2-1/2 to 3 hours.
- Remove spice bag and discard. Serve in mugs with a cinnamon-stick stirrer, if desired. Makes 10 (8-ounce) servings.

For 1-quart crockery cooker:
Use 2 inches stick cinnamon, broken; 1/4 teaspoon whole allspice; 1/4 teaspoon whole cloves; 3 cups apple juice; and 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar. Prepare as above. Cook for 3-1/2 to 4 hours. Serves 3.
