Cocoa Caribe

Ingredients

tablespoon sugar
1
tablespoon water
1
cup milk
1/8
teaspoon ground cinnamon
 
Several dashes ground cardamom
 
Cinnamon stick (optional)

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan combine sugar, cocoa powder, and water. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat. Stir in milk, ground cinnamon, and cardamom; heat through. With a whisk, beat until frothy. Pour into a mug. If desired, serve with a cinnamon stick. Makes 1 (8-oz.) serving.
