I adapted this recipe to my green smoothie eating by adding a cup of protein and a cup of spinach. It's TOTALLY wonderful and healthy. I buy all my fruits in frozen bags and it's much cheaper.

For the person who won't use this recipe because it costs too much, I agree, it's a pricey drink. Maybe you could enjoy it if you consider it as a substitution of other non-nutritional things that could be eliminated from your diet because it really does sound yummy. I would probably strain it with cheesecloth, though since seeded fruits are not my friend.

I can't afford this one. the one cup of raspberries would start at $4, strawberries $4, blue berries; $3. Not for the poor person.

So many berries. I am allergic to bluberries so nix those and I'd also add non-fat yogurt and maybe a banana and some soy or almond milk. Needs more "oomph".
