Nutmeg Sauce

Ingredients
1/4
cup sugar
1
tablespoon cornstarch
1
cup apple juice
2
tablespoons margarine
1/2
teaspoon vanilla
1/8
teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in apple juice. Add margarine. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and nutmeg. Serve warm. Makes about 1 cup.
