Red, orange, yellow, green, and blue paste food coloring
16 ounce can white frosting
Red-, orange-, yellow-, green-, and blue-color sugars
Red-, orange-, yellow-, green-, and blue-color decorative candies
Red-, orange-, yellow-, green-, and blue-color candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions for cupcakes, using paper bake cups. If desired, divide batter into several bowls; tint the batter in each bowl a different color with paste food coloring. Bake according to package directions; cool completely on a wire rack.
- Divide frosting between several bowls; tint frosting in each bowl with paste food coloring. Spread frosting on cupcakes. Allow guests to decorate cupcakes colored sugar and candies. Makes 24 cupcakes.
