Cucumber Gin and Tonic

For a tonic water that doesn't overwhelm the flavor of the gin, choose a brand that is not too sweet such as Q Tonic or Fever-Tree Naturally Light.

Cucumber Gin and Tonic

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a cocktail shaker combine cucumber and lemon juice; muddle until cucumber is broken up. Add gin, St. Germain, and ice. Shake until chilled, about 20 seconds. To serve, strain into a tall ice-filled glass. Top with tonic water. Garnish with a cucumber spear.

We like Hendrick's Gin for this cocktail; infused with cucumber, it nicely enhances the flavor here.
