Chili Carrots

Ingredients

teaspoons vegetable oil

pound yellow and/or orange carrots, peeled and sliced

tablespoons water
 
Salt
 
Ground black pepper
 
Asian chile sauce (such as Sriracha)

Directions

  1. In a large skillet cook garlic in hot oil over medium-high heat for 30 seconds. Add carrots; cook and stir for 6 minutes. Add the water; cover. Cook for 4 minutes more. Transfer to a serving dish. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and splash of chile sauce.
