Whipped Cream Frosting
Ingredients
  • 2
    cups whipping cream
  • 2/3
    cup dairy sour cream
  • 1/4
    cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1
    teaspoon vanilla
Directions

For frosting, beat the whipping cream, sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a chilled large mixing bowl until stiff peaks form.

I had a recipe from last February's issue, and my frosting did not get thick. It called for 1 C Whipping Cream, 1 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar, and 8oz. sour cream and 2 Tbs cherry juice. I made it 2x and both times it failed to set or get thick enough to spread. Does anyone have any idea why this happened? I will try this recipe next time I guess...Thanks, Audrey Martin
