Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Generously grease and flour a 10-inch fluted tube pan; set aside. In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, oil, butter, poppy seeds, vanilla, almond extract, and butter flavoring. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Beat with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 2 minutes. Spoon batter into prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  3. Bake about 65 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan. Brush cake generously with Orange Glaze. Cool completely on wire rack.

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and orange juice. Heat and stir just until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Stir in almond extract and vanilla.
