Broccoli Raab and Clams

Ingredients

pound broccoli raab, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces, or 3 cups broccoli florets

cloves garlic, sliced

tablespoons olive oil

6 1/2 ounce cans chopped clams, undrained
1/4
cup butter
1/2
cup dry white wine
1/2
teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4
teaspoon ground black pepper
12
ounces dried pasta, cooked and drained
1/4
cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In an extra-large skillet, cook broccoli and garlic in hot oil over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in undrained clams and butter. Cook over medium heat until butter is melted.
  2. Stir in wine, crushed red pepper, and black pepper. Bring just to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 2 minutes or until slightly reduced.
  3. Serve broccoli mixture over hot cooked pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.
