Grilled Muffins

large or jumbo prepared fruit muffins

tablespoons margarine or butter

teaspoon ground ginger or cinnamon

cup marmalade, preserves, or jam
Directions
1. Set each muffin on its base and slice in half vertically (downward).
2. In a very large skillet melt margarine over medium heat. Stir in ginger or cinnamon. Lay muffins, cut side down, in margarine mixture. Cook about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to serving platter. Serve with marmalade, preserves, or jam. Makes 4 servings.
