Flaxseed Rolls
Ingredients
-
Nonstick cooking spray
-
2
tablespoons flaxseeds, toasted
-
1
16 ounce package hot roll mix
-
2
teaspoons milk
-
1
teaspoon flaxseeds, crushed
Directions
1. Coat a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with cooking spray; set aside. Place the 2 tablespoons flaxseeds in a blender container. Cover and blend until seeds are ground. (Or, use a pepper mill to grind seeds.)
2. Prepare hot roll mix according to package directions, except stir in ground flaxseeds with the yeast. Shape dough into 12 smooth balls. Place the balls in prepared baking pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until nearly double in size (about 30 minutes).
