Blueberry Mojitini

Ingredients

cups water
1/3
cup sugar
1/4
cup lime juice
1/2
cup acai-blueberry vodka or blueberry vodka
 
Lime wedge
 
Sugar
1/4
cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves
 
Ice cubes
 
Fresh blueberries (optional)

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher combine the water, the 1/3 cup sugar, and the lime juice, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cover and chill for 1 to 12 hours. Stir vodka into lime mixture.
  2. Wet the rims of four cocktail glasses with the lime wedge; dip rims in additional sugar. Using a mortar and pestle or a wooden spoon, lightly bruise mint leaves; place mint in sugar-rimmed glasses.
  3. Fill glasses with ice. Pour vodka mixture over ice and mint leaves. If desired, garnish with blueberries threaded on cocktail picks.
