Blueberry Jam Compote
Ingredients

cup sugar

tablespoon cornstarch

cups fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed and drained
1/3
cup orange juice
1/4
cup mild-flavor molasses
3
tablespoons blueberry brandy or orange juice
Directions
  1. In a large saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in 2 cups of the blueberries, the orange juice, molasses, and brandy. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Stir in remaining blueberries Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Cool slightly.
  2. To store, cover and chill for up to 2 weeks.
