Plum Good Sausage and Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 10 - 12 ounce jar plum jam or preserves
- 1 18 ounce bottle (1-2/3 cups) barbecue sauce
- 1 16 ounce link cooked jalapeno smoked sausage or smoked sausage, sliced into bite-size pieces
- 1 16 - 18 ounce package Italian-style or original flavor frozen cooked meatballs (16), thawed
Directions
1. For sauce, in a 3-1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker combine the jam and barbecue sauce. Add the sausage and thawed meatballs, stirring to coat with sauce.
2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours or on high-heat setting for 2-1/2 to 3 hours. Serve with decorative toothpicks. To serve at a buffet, keep warm on low-heat setting for up to 2 hours. Makes 16 servings.
