
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan; set aside. In a medium bowl stir together gingerbread mix, the water, egg, fruit bits, and pecans. Spread batter in prepared baking pan.
2. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
3. For glaze, in a small bowl stir together the powdered sugar and ginger; stir in enough of the milk to make a drizzling consistency. Drizzle glaze over gingerbread. Cut into bars. Makes 24 bars.
