- 3 pita bread rounds
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1. Split pita bread rounds in half horizontally. Lightly brush the cut side of each pita bread half with melted margarine or butter. Cut each half into six wedges. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese. Bake in a 350 degree F oven about 10 minutes or until crisp. Cool. Transfer to an airtight container; store at room temperature up to 1 week. Makes 36 chips (12 servings).
