
1. For the web, hot-glue six Pixy Stix together in a spoke design. Referring to the photo, connect the spokes, gluing the remaining Pixy Stix around the outside edge first, then on the inside.
2. For the spider, cover the muffin top with chocolate icing and sprinkles. Set aside.
3. Assemble the pieces as follows. Using the icing as "glue," ice sour-ball halves to the center of the Starlight candies for eyes. Ice the eyes and an M&M nose to a peppermint-patty head. Cut the mouth from a curved portion of shoe-string licorice. Ice the head to the body, slipping the cut ends of the mouth in between.
4. Cut eight long slivers of licorice twists candy for legs and three or four short slivers for hair. Cut the ends into points. Push the legs and hair into the body.
