Mustard and Ginger Cocktail Sausages
Ingredients
  • 1/2
    cup ginger conserve
  • 1/2
    cup whole grain mustard
  • 1
    tablespoon garlic-flavored olive oil
  • 1
    tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 - 1 3/4
    pounds cooked or smoked cocktail sausages
Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a shallow baking pan with aluminum foil, or use a disposable foil pan. In a large bowl, whisk together the ginger conserve, mustard, garlic-flavor oil, and soy sauce.

2. Turn the sausages in the mustard mixture. Arrange on prepared pan. Cook 25 to 30 minutes or until browned, stirring once during cooking. Makes 6 servings and leftovers.

I did what another user did for the ginger conserve (2tbsp minced ginger in the jar, 1/2c apple jelly). These went fast! Very easy & delicious.

I had a similar problem with that very recipe, so for the sake of time, I used grated ginger (2 tablespoons), that comes in a jar in water, plus enough apple jelly to make the 1/2 cup. Squeeze the liquid out of the grated ginger first. I have yet to find the ginger conserve on the store shelves. Good recipe.
