French-Style Cream Cheese Spread

8 ounce package cream cheese, softened

cup margarine or butter, softened

clove garlic, minced

tablespoon snipped fresh parsley

teaspoons white wine vinegar

teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

teaspoon herbes de Provence, crushed

teaspoon seasoned salt

Fresh thyme (optional)

Assorted crackers
Directions
1. In a medium bowl stir together cream cheese, margarine or butter, garlic, parsley, water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, herbes de Provence, and seasoned salt. Cover and chill overnight.
2. To serve, garnish with fresh thyme, if desired. Serve with crackers. Makes about 1-1/3 cups (21 1-tablespoon servings).
