Apples with Pistachio-Almond Butter
Ingredients
  • 1/2
    cup pistachio nuts
  • 1/2
    cup blanched almonds
  • 1/4
    cup butter (no substitutes), cut into pieces
  • 2
    tablespoons honey
  • 1
    teaspoon finely shredded orange peel
  • 3
    tablespoons orange juice
  • Apples and/or pears, cut into wedges
Directions

Combine pistachio nuts, almonds, butter, honey, orange peel, and orange juice in a food processor bowl. Cover and process until mixture is the consistency of butter. Serve at once or cover and chill. Serve with apple and/or pear wedges. Makes 12 servings.
