    tablespoon anise seeds
  • 1
cup shredded Swiss cheese or Gruyere cheese (4 oz.)

I've made this recipe for several years. I use it as an appetizer, or light meal. When I have guests, they walk back and forth looking at it, finally they take a bite, and then I begin to worry-will I ever have enough? I now make recipe cards when I serve it; also, I warm the extra honey for dipping the crust.
