The previous owners didn't like the painted brick after all and put a piece of plywood from the mantle to the ceiling and painted the yellow wall color. The former owner told me that the fireplace went all the way up to the ceiling. I got a pry bar and removed the plywood. The owner did not mention that she painted the brick first! Sandblasting indoors is not an option we found out. We need help to make our fireplace stand out in a good way! |
