We removed the seats from our existing chairs and used them as a template to make a bench seat out of MDF (it needed to comfortably seat 2, so we set them apart a tish). We attached the bench seat to the chairs using the existing screw holes and painted it all white. We also saved the old chair seats, so that if we want to switch it back to chairs at any point all we have to do is unscrew the bench seat and reattach the chair seats. |
