Hi-Have someone come in and spray texture your walls to repair them. Then paint a neutral color. Remove the burgundy carpet and check for wood floors. Get family to help, then decorate!
 

This corner of room is near the bathroom/closet area to show distance, and walls with wallpaper removed that we haven't been able to do anything with for 4 years since we moved into this house!
