I am looking to redecorate my room. I currently have a gardenia/vine theme. I am interested in painting my walls in a simpler fashion as I currently have had a sponge painted design with a gold/creme/tan palette and am thinking a canary yellow. Also, I've heard of painting the wall on which the headboard rests a different color than the other walls but not sure if it would be appropriate for a smaller bedroom. I've attached some photos of my room as well as bedding I've been thinking of buying. I would like a simple pattern for the bedding and am trying to avoid solids but I do enjoy quilts.
