Unify the space with tables or desks that are the same. Possibly an old door on top of file cabinets, or old cabinets found at a second hand store. That would help keep this from looking mismashed together.
 

My craft room has alot of natural light with minimal wall space but good height. I tried to make a built in look with different pieces but it isn't working. I have a beautiful bernina sewing machine that doesn't get used much because of space issues.

You could invest in cabinets from Habitat For Humanity store--really cheap. Or call a bunch of contractors and see if they have any on hand that were from a demo.
