I describe my kitchen as the merry a go round room. We I was young and growing up our family kitchen was the entertainment room. Everything was done there, homework, family gatherings, birthday celebrations etc. I have passed that on to my own family. Whenever we have gatherings we always start out and end up in the kitchen. The first 5 guests who come get the seats at the table and the rest will stand around my kitchen leaning against my cabinets or stand at the island that is connected to the table at the other end. Its hard to serve food when you have to keep saying excuse me to get anything from the cabinets, refrig, stove etc. So that is why I call my kitchen the go around room.
