I am missing pg 279&280 which have the recipe I need tonight for company tomorrow. I moved and that pg is missing
 

My husband and I were married in 1964 and received a Red Plaid cookbook as a wedding gift. After our honeymoon it dawned on me I was suppose to cook him breakfast. I didn't even know how to boil an egg. Out came the Red Plaid cookbook and I learned to cook. When my husband noticed it was wearing out several years ago, he bought me a newer version; but it just wasn't the same as that first one. I still use it for my best ever pies, chocolate birthday cakes, beef stew, spaghetti, and cooking meat
