All you need to replicate this cute card is patterned paper, a branch stamp, and a flower-shape-brad. To make, adhere wood-grain patterned paper to pink patterned paper. Apply the branch stamp and allow to dry. Cut the body of the bird from brown patterned paper and the wings from pink patterned paper, as shown. Secure the bird with the brad.
Use your computer's Dingbats font to print birthday emblems onto a few colors of cardstock; use a circle punch to cut them out. Attach them to card and finish off with thin ribbon.
Pick out a paper with a pretty floral pattern and use it as a guide for stitching. Dot the flower center with a sticker and add a birthday message to complete the look.
A pieced flower blooms at the base of this girlish card. Use twine to hang metal charms and a picture of the birthday girl from a chipboard strip along the top.
