Baby Bling Themed Baby Shower

Entertaining guru Jennifer Sbranti shows us how to make a mom-to-be feel like a superstar on her special day by surrounding her with some serious baby bling.

    Everything in this slideshow

    • Simple Tabletop Design

Adorable rhinestone pacifiers, blinged-out party favors, and glittery words are just a few of the glitzy details in this unique and playful shower theme.

      Sources: Scrapbook paper, Rhinestone stickers,

    • Perfect Place Setting

For a fun and feminine place setting, use decorative scrapbook paper in your theme's colors as place mats. Mix things up by alternating two or three patterns. To create the napkin rings, cut 1-1/2-inch-tall strips of your patterned paper, secure them around your napkins, and top it off with a themed sticker that matches your design. Finish the setting by embellishing the base of regular or plastic utensils with adhesive rhinestones.

    • Boastful Baby Centerpiece

Decorate mod mini vases with baby-themed rhinestone stickers. Set the mini vases on decorative paper embellished with colorful mini rhinestones and use glittery chipboard letters to spell out words such as "bling," "baby," and "mom."

    • Embellished Pacifier

For a cute accessory, embellish pacifiers with rhinestones. To make life easy, use self-adhesive rhinestones or premade rhinestone stickers that you can just peel and stick. (Remember to use the bling pacifier just as decor -- we don't recommend it for baby's use.)

    • Add the Glam

Set small, tight bunches of flowers or a single oversize bloom such as the hydrangea on either side of your main centerpiece to help fill the table. Wrap the vase with decorative paper that coordinates with your place settings or embellish contemporary vases with rhinestone words such as "precious," "baby boy," or "baby girl."

    • Glittery Details

Decorate glittery chipboard letters with adhesive rhinestones, and then display them in unique frames. For more baby shower fun, set rhinestone-embellished pacifiers and diamond-shape crystal paperweights all throughout the party -- on food tables, beverage displays, etc.

    • Lippy Favors

Offer guests fun, themed party favors such as shimmery lip glosses and rhinestone-embellished favor tins filled with candy.

    • Framed Message

Leave guests messages in cute little frames. Simple wooden frames like this white one are inexpensive ways to give your table setting or gift table a little accessorizing fun.

    • Guessing Game

Fill a jar with acrylic diamond vase gems and have guests try to guess the amount of bling in the jar. Whoever guesses closest to the correct number wins a fun themed prize -- such as shimmery body lotion, an oversize diamond-shape crystal paperweight, or a rhinestone-studded compact.

      Favor Time

Mints are a great party favor after any brunch or dinner party. Keeping with the theme, tic tacs were placed in tiny tin cases, which were embellished with sticky rhinestones.
