Kitchen Cabinet Makeover: Tin Ceiling Inserts

Bring old-fashioned appeal to your kitchen with this easy DIY project. Use tin ceiling tiles as cabinet door inserts to give your kitchen a new look.
What You Need:

Drill and 1/2 -inch bit

Jigsaw

Paint for cabinet doors

Paintbrushes

Tin ceiling tile

Tin snips

Paint for tin ceiling inserts

Heavy-duty glue

1. Remove the door panel by drilling a 1/2-inch hole in the center of the panel, inserting a jigsaw, and cutting an X from corner to corner.

2. Paint the cabinet door and let dry.

3. Cut tin ceiling panels to fit the frame. Paint the panel your desired color.

4. When dry, glue the panel to the wood base.
