About this Project

The technique used to fix plaster ceilings (see Related Projects) also can be used to mend a drywall ceiling. For a smoother repair, use the technique presented in this article.

The key to good results in drywall repairs is to take your time. Feather the edges of the wallboard compound to blend them into the existing drywall.

If your ceiling is textured, check with your paint supplier for the right materials to reproduce the look you have.
