Plan for an Organized Kitchen

Open to living and dining areas, this 20x20-foot kitchen boasts barnlike 20-foot ceilings, but its floor plan and several farmhouse-style windows restrict cabinet space. Because the family loves to entertain and cook together, it made sense to create multiple work stations, each with point-of-use organization and custom storage that keeps cooking gear and clutter out of sight. Analyzing what you use where means bigger can be better -- not just bigger.
